Pages

I'm having the same problem described in the 2009-12-03 POST Merging into Labels.  I have a spreadsheet with names and addresses which I want to merge onto a sheet of Avery labels.

I must be be doing something dumb but whenever I try to download  a template to my iPad2 it just says 'safari cannot download This file'.What am I doing wrong?

When I download a document from iWork.com, it always appears in my download folder - can I arrange for it to be downloaded somewhere else? Ideally, I would want the newly downloaded document to overwrite an older version stored in my documents.

I am hoping there is a Pages expert out there who can help me (not expecting it to be free) build a template for a commercial insurance proposal for my agency to use. I'm not at all satisfied with what our agency management system produces.

I will have a hard copy of what I am wanting available to email to whomever is able to help put that proposal into a Pages template.

Please let me know if you are up to this kind of project. Most proposals of this kind are upwards of 30 pages when printed out.

I just installed iwork08 to another computer we have...when I open pages, there is no text displayed in the document when I type! I have checked all the colors settings and everything is the same on my other mac. I can highlight text and change the color to purple and it will show up faintly. What am I doing wrong...help please quickly!!
