Numbers Template that shows retirement in goals in both real and inflation-adjusted terms. It allows you to figure this as a percentage of income, rather than a fixed amount, and also allows an annual percentage increase in salary, and a percentage match from the company in a 401(k) if needed.
The inflation adjustment is there if you think you want to have a certain amount in "today's dollars" on hand when you retire.
This also will graph the result for you. One downside is that I don't know enough scripting to change the number of years in the graph automatically based on the sheet input. If someone else knows how, I'd gladly accept the revision.
