This is my personal template for keeping track of my expenses. I know there are automated services and credit cards have online sites, but I manually input my receipts to double check. I'm kinda anal. Anyway, I decided to share it. It sometimes loads slowly because there are 12 sheets, one for every month. If you wish, you can create a new file for each month and delete the rest of the sheets. Feel free to mod it to your own personal situation or leave a comment requesting changes or improvements. Remember to put a minus sign next to debits so that the calculations don't go screwy.

Personal finances have highs and lows, even within each month. While most spreadsheets or programs tell you how much you have left in a given month, they don’t tell you if in week 3 of a particular month you will have enough to cover a particular expense or bills.

With this spreadsheet, you will have the most accurate personal financing system. The benefit of this system versus the next is that it will tell you EXACTLY how much or little you will have for every week, even months out in the future.

A running loan schedule that allows for extra payments and missed payments. All you need to know is Loan Amount, Simple Interest Rate, Length of loan in years, and loan start date. It shows a self adjusting Amortization schedule that adds interest to the principal if you miss a payment and subtracts from principal extra payments. Great for personal loans.
Just stretch things down for a loan longer than 3 years. (Doesn't do compound interest)
